What a day!! Probably the busiest of my life. To get to Krabi, it feels like we used every mode of transport known to man/woman! We went from mini bus to coach, coach to ferry, ferry to coach, coach to mini bus, mini bus to another coach, and then that coach arrived in Krabi. Then 'Mr Banana' (will explain in a bit) took us to our resort by some kinda pick up truck. We're staying at a place called 'Vipa Tropical Park View'. Its a family owned resort and everyones so friendly here. Plus Mr Bananas younger brother (Keol) is a Tottenham fan! What a legend! As soon as we arrived Keol and Et (another member of the family) carried our bags to our hut, and considering at the time we were again in the middle of a monsoon that was pretty cool! After the rain had passed, they gave us a really warm welcome and within half an hour we were all playing a bit of footy tennis with Mr Bananas family and other guests! After getting destroyed at that strange game (had to play with a ball the size of a tennis ball made out of banboo) we cleaned ourselves up and headed towards the 'outdoor hut' for some food and a few cheeky bottles of beer! I even ate some thai food (yeah I know...me!) Anyone that knows me knows I'm probably the fussiest eater ever! But to my amazement the thai food was really nice (barr the red peppers)! Then we sampled the nightlife in Krabi, it was quite quiet to start with but we found an Irish bar (you gotta love the Irish) and played some pool! They were playing winner stays on and even though Roomy and Milsy may deny it , I was owning that pool table (until the alcohol hit me!). We then went to a bar/club called 'Luna Bar'...again was a little too quiet but at least it picked up around 1am. After lots of bad dancing (the locals were pointing and laughing at Roomy lol), we headed back around 3am. It was a really long day but enjoyable!
