My God will it ever stop raining?? Even though its pretty hot here...it seems to rain every day! The Equator hostel (where we're staying) is pretty awesome. Phil and Hady have been great hosts. Its right bang in the centre of Kuala Lumpur next to Times Square. Times Square is huge...we went in there yesterday. It must have ten to fifteen floors of shops (so all those ladies who enjoy shopping for hours would be in heaven!) Its holds an Imax Cinema, a 50 lane bowling alley and even a rollercoaster and other rides...whats all that about?? Crazy!
We woke up around 10-11 (maybe a bit later) yesterday and headed straight for the bowling alley!! All three of us had been talking a great game the night before so two of us would look very silly post match! We had two games (the first being a warm up for the main event). Roomy came out on top, with me just behind. Milsy liked the gutter and therefore I questioned whether he needed the bumper up at all lol! So it was time for the main event (it was bigger than the FA Cup Final). I'm not one to boast but the cream really does rise to the top! I notched a career best 159, Milsy had 96, and Roomy's stamina let him down to score a dismal 75. It was pretty embarrassing, and I didn't boast (being a professional). After the humping I gave to the boys at Bowling we went to the Imax cinema to see Open Season in 3D. It was awesome and the screen was absolutely MASSIVE. It must have been four times bigger than the usual sunday evening venture to the cinema in Huntingdon with the boys.
We knew that being Sunday, there was a big night of football ahead! West Ham V Arsenal before the big one...Spurs V Chelsea! So off we went trying to find a bottle of Vodka (to keep us up!) It was a right mission...everywhere we went didnt possess such an important part of our night. But after help and directions from Phil, we found a place. So we got back to the hostel (removed those Germans from the Sofa) and put our feet up hoping for West Ham and Spurs victories! It couldn't have gone any better. Firstly West Ham gunned down those gunners and the mighty Spurs embarrassed Chelsea. The titles ours now! We retired back to our bunk beds (Im on top!! Bunk that is) at around 4am.
Spent today being very lazy (it was like a normal day at Uni!) We're off to Singapore tomorrow so we needed to book up another hostel. However we'll only be in Singapore for the one night because the following morning is the flight to Sydney!! Oh yeah, I looked at the world map earlier, and I never really realised how far away we actually were from home...aaaaah! We're so far away. I don't think I want to look again...freaks me out big time! Spent the rest of today just looking around Times Square. There was a shop in Times Square that allowed people to play on a PS2. So we had a few games of Pro Evo 6...I got destroyed! But I like my feet to do the talking...not my hands! We sampled the local cuisine tonight as well...very cheap and pretty nice (barr the bones). Roomy and Milsy struggled leaving pretty much what they had started with on their plate! I think we're just going to relax tonight watch a film maybe and get ourselves sorted for the 5-6 hour coach ride to Singapore tomorrow. Byeeee xxx
