After a hairy few days where the Navvy decided to keep cutting out on us, we finally got away on Thursday. First stop was Blacksmiths Beach after a fish 'n' chip lunch with Bev at Koolewong. After 15 months of preparation, it was hard to believe we were actually on the road! And by the end of the night we worked out it was 11 years to the day since we met... awww... Next stop was Booti Booti National Park, just south of Forster. Nice couple of days of relaxi...

Hi all We're back in Sydney after our successful test run to Victoria. We had a lovely time visiting Mark & Fin, and then Trey. A few minor adjustments, and then we're off! Sorry if we didn't get to catch up with you one last time, organising things took a bit longer than expected (as is often the case). Our feet are getting itchier by the minute, so we're outta here. We look forward to keeping in touch with you, and maybe seeing you on the road somewhere.....

Its early April, and work on Deefa26 is continuing furiously in the newly-refurbished shed at Peakhurst. Kitchen cupboards are in, the "wardrobe" is in, the lighting for the tent and storage areas is in (thanks Slade!). We're now in the process of securing everything down, in anticipation of the countless kilometres of corrugated dirt roads ahead.
