Had a quick stop-over in Byron on Saturday to catch up with Ngaire and Ray - the owners of 3 Dog Camping, who made Deefa26 - so we could show them how we fitted it out, and have a general chinwag.

Caught up with Jacque too (yes, Relle and Bomber, she's still alive), who is busy organising the Byron Bay triathlon. She had just cycled to Lennox Head and back to test the bike course, so we let her go and have a well-earned nap, and headed up to the Whian Whian State Conservation Area, in the Byron hinterland.

Just managed to shoe-horn ourselves in to the campground, it was packed out! Had a lovely spot right next to the toilets, which gave the place a certain aroma that we hope hasn't permeated the canvas of our tent...

Naturally, not many photos taken at this spot, just packed up and headed to Bris-Vegas, to visit Catherine and Dave, and their boys Harry and Al.
