We motored during part of the night from Bahia Sullivan (Santiago) and laid anchor at 1:30am. We awoke to the stunning beauty of Isla Rabida. The deep red sand beach is such a contrast to the green foliage. Had another nature walk and then a really long snorkel. We are now sailing through this passage, the main square sail is up and three other head sails. Wahoo! Everything flying off tables - water jugs, glasses, coffee etc. What you don't hold onto is overboard. I didn't imagine we would get going at such a tilt so I am in total happyland drinking in the wind and waves.
We went on another stroll this afternoon They always last about two hours minimum but we never cover much ground. One really entertaining time at the beach. This young sea lion and Jeremy were interacting for quite awhile Jeremy was lying facing the water and the sea lion kept inching closer and closer to him talking away. Jeremy tried to imitate the sounds and eventually the sea lion was face to face and gave him a big wet kiss. It was priceless.
Of course we got a great picture but none of the hundreds we have taken want to download with this weak signal so I guess it may be a home project.
For my facebook friends they are posted.
