On Monday night i went to the nieghbours night which is held in a english pub in St Kilda. I got to met Lyn, Toadie and Stingray and Karl and his band played at the end of the night. They came on one by one and talked to the host for a bit then the 3 of them answered some questions that we had all written whilst waiting an hour for the evening to start. As we are all sat at table throughout the night the stars wander around to us and we can get our photos taken with them. THere is also apub quiz going on through the night with only a few questions on neighbours. THe quiz was hard and dont think our table did very well. Toadie was the last to leave then Karl and his band played. They were good but he isnt a great singer!!! they were all very nice, Lyn even said i could be a supermodel!!! TOday i went on the neighbours tour. we got take to the high scholl which is actually an enhlsih language school. then we drive past the studios where they do all the insise shots and have the fronts of the cafe etc. next stop was pine oak court aka ramsay st. they were filming today so the road was shut and we couldnt get to the houses. THere were filming 4 new characters and noone else was around so it was a bit disapointing. Did hear about the upcoming storylines but wont write then incase you dont want to hear from you!! On Thursday I went to the Rod Laver Arena where they hold the Australian Tennis OPen. i had a guided tour around there. It was only me and the guide so it was a nice quiet tour! She took me around the building showing me the trophies, changing rooms, media room, the main arena and the outside courts. It was god to see and when i see it on the tv next can place myself there. On Friday i went to the Telstra dome which is near to my hostel for a tour around there. THis was where the Rugby world cup final was held and every weekend there are AFL games. THere were more people on this tour, mainly AFL fans. We walked around the dome, seeing the coaches boxes, chaning rooms, media room and able to go down to the pitch, As the ground was laid out for an AFL match it was hard to picture the rugby held here. On Sunday i went down to St Kilda and looked around and the arts and craft market and the main street here. THen i wen to Albert park which is a huge park and lake near the centre of town and where the formula 1 race is held. Walked around here which was nice as the weather wasnt too bad.
