Today i was up early to enjoy the free breakfast at the hostel. I then spent the morning sending cvs to temp agencies to find some work here. in the afternoon i was able to walk around the city and went to Victoria market where there are loads of meat, fresh veg/fruit and deli stalls. Have an interview on thursday and am registering at two agenices tomorrow. Have now changed my plans after finding loads of spas in sunny hot queensland i have decided to spead more time on the east coast working where ever if not in a spa. I am heading to Adelaide next week to see my friend and if no spa job arises will maybe work here for abit instead. Melbourne is nice but is cold!! its not as WOW as i was expecting but think it will change in the summer. Done a dfew touristy things. Went to the Old Gaol where Ned KElly was hanged, visited the zoo and the aquarium andw ent to the musuem which had an exhibition on the 2006 Commenwealth games, this included the baton.flame tourch, the chair the queen sat in and various costumes and props that were used in it. found this really interesting. WEnt to ST Kilda which is the beach surburb but was really windy when i went and did look very appealing!!! Walked past Rod Laver Areana where the OZ open is held and may well do a guided tour around that.
