Tuesday, Liam found an 18 year old bike riding buddy and up the mountain they went. He was a very nice young man who was here with his family for the Girls World Series of Softball. He is also a dirt bike rider in southern Utah and a camp counselor. Thank the Lord Almighty! Liam was happy and so were Lily and I.
Lily and I took the time to RELAX and to go shopping in the cutest town of all...historic Park City. We bought presents and in a New Age store we ran into a very interesting psychic. Suzanne, Lily will have some fun things to share...mostly about Mommy.
We capped the day off at a great great restaurant on the mountain called The Farm. That was a real treat.
Wednesday, we went horseback riding again to a different locale. I mainly wanted to check out the Provo River to see how high the rapids are for our whitewater rafting expedition today. Beautiful and easy...right up our alley for the maiden voyage. Lily is aprehensive so we'll have to work her into level III so we are going to start out with I's and II's. When we get to Montana, we might go but the water is still high up there, as per my buddy Rachel. It's not that the rapids are too rough, it's that you can't get under the bridges.
So the horseback riding was beautiful riding through all the lavender and enjoying the scenery but I think we've had enough of the single file trail riding. With the bike riding, and two days of horseback riding I'm surprised I can walk much less sit down but I guess all that "cushion" I have in that area is good for something.
