We went back to the lovely Red Pine Ranch which offers snowmobiling in the winter and horseback riding in the summer. Although, they were still snowmobiling Memorial Day weekend...not sure I could go for such a long winter. Liam could however. Speaking of Liam, he is totally in his element here. I've never seen him so happy. He can't wait to grow up and move to the mountains. He's already planning is career path around it. We'll see what happens, I love to see him so motivated.
Anyway, they asked Lily if she's ever ridden before and she said no so they took her away from the frisky black horse and gave her Lagrue...a white and brown horse. He was a little slow and the guide kept calling him a "grumpy old man". They gave the frisky black horse to Liam. Liam kept the reins pulled tight so the horse's head kept rearing and he was dancing all around. Liam loved it and was holding on like a pro. Liam would also stop his horse so he could catch up to the group by trotting or cantering. At one point he stopped short, Lily's horse stopped and my horse ran into Lily's horse. Lily's horse flipped his tail so hard, my horse's bridle came off so I was basically riding like an Indian until we got to flat ground to fix it.
The ride was beautiful and we all want to go back although we might do a white water rafting/horseback riding combo tour on Wednesday. ATV'ing is out because you have to be 16 to drive so Liam isn't interested anymore...thank God!
We went into Park City to have lunch and stumbled across all sorts of mountain activity, ie: the Alpine Luge, the Alpine Coaster and the Zip Line. OMG, we had so much fun. Liam and I did the coaster (my favorite) and the zip line (scary for the first second and then only a 30 second ride) and Lily joined us for the luge. I was desensitized by that time so it seemed like a "granny ride". As a matter of fact, there were some grannies on it.
I am happy that we are all finally settling into the vacation rhythm.

Suzanne Hyde Love Park City. That's where Tim and I stayed after our backpacking trip into the High Uintas. So beautiful and peaseful. So happy to see you guys with your game on. Love you.
