Initial disappointment with sub par hostel accommodation turned to dismay as the evening progressed. Here are a few of the things we will eventually laugh about: giving up our beds in a 4 person room and taking beds in a 6 person room. Enduring the heat, odor, and snoring of 4 strange and burly men until one of them dashed into the attached bathroom with a violent illness. As David's mind played scenes from the movie Outbreak, we both quickly gathered our things and decided it better to be outside in the fresh air at 4 am than trapped in the hot box with the scary sick guy.

We did take turns napping in the hostel lobby on the purple couch.
