End of day 7, 30th June.
Got up and packed the car. After spending the day in the springs I was hoping to have a rocking sleep. Proved to have a crap one. These fold out beds and European style piles are really starting to do my head in. Best way to describe them is a potatoe sack stuffed with hay, about the size of 2 normal pillows.
I pray the car kicks over so we can leave, it does and we are on our way to Mor to Gobi and Argi's house.
Frank and Estell Costanzer argue constantly in the car. Its this way, no its that way. Turn right here, turn left there. A 2 hour drive takes us just under 6 hours. We get lost a few times. Admittedly the signage in Hungary is pretty poor. The car held up the whole way so that was good. For whatever reason the GPS runs out of battery after a couple of hours. Dont ask me why it wont charge in the cigerate lighter. I go with the flow as Im in the back with all the luggage so cant really help. To help us out of a jam I turn my phone GPS on to get us back onto the right track. Turns out after leaving Savar 2 hours ago, dad has pushed a button on the GPS that then directs us back to Savar. We drive pretty much all the way back. Its like a comedy movie. Once we get on the right track my phone runs out of credit. We finally arrive. I try to call home on one of mums phone cards but it does not last long. Gobi dries me into town quickly to the Mor version of a Telstra shop. Aparently they dont sell sim cards for I Phones. I manage to sort myself out on Argis laptop.
Once unpacked the visitors started rolling in, Oti, his wife Eva and their little 2 year old son Boti come first. It is good to see Oti as I have not seen him for some 10 years. LIttle Boti is 2 years old and very cute. He can sing twinkle twinkle in english. Really missing my own little family once again.
Also visited was Agis sister Tilly, and their parents Margerart and Aundorf. Had dinner and drinks. Oti cooked a bbq Aussie style. Was nice. Tomorrow we begin the voyage to see Bolage who is camped near lake bolotone, which is south to here. I get Bolages bedroom. Its nice as they have aircon. However the bed is so narrow it makes caravan beds seem huge. Its ganna be a cuture shock getting back into my king size. Just another example of the little things as to why we are very spoilt back home.
Off to bed as tomorrow we begin the voyuge to meet Bolage. The man, the myth, the legend that is. Cant wait.
