This morning we all woke up early to get ready to head to Lake Argyle. Joanna, Sharon and Melanie took advantage of the warm thermal pool and had a quick swim before we left. The steam rising up off the water was a beautiful sight to see. Joanna spent the majority of the swim catching little fish, of which she managed to catch 3. We took to the road again, our first stop being Katherine; where Neil made the track Shak nice and shiny using the car wash. Once both of the cars were full with fuel, we set off. We stopped for lunch at Timber Creek which is a town that consists of just a road house and a motel. After lunch we piled in the cars again, to make another stop for a scenic lookout at Victoria River. It was very wide and fast flowing. When we finally arrived at Lake Argyle Caravan Park, Joanna, Sharon, Tanya and Melanie were extremely eager to see their 'infinity edge' pool. After setting up and the Davey’s taking over most of the Leslie’s designated camping spot, Joanna and Melanie got in the pool as soon as they could. The water was freezing but the view was worth it. Joanna said that the pool was ‘A dream come true.’ Everyone lounged back and had a relaxing afternoon, which was then finished off by having Cheese and biscuits for dinner. Everyone was in bed by 8pm.
