"This is IT"

These were one of the last words one of my best friends said to me as we said our final goodbyes-well for two years at least. And as I was on the drive home it really made me think that actually this is 'it'.

This is what my three years at Redcliffe has led to and who knows how many God ordained events that have gone on before.

I've got all the things I need, my bags are packed and I've finished orientation. Lots of the other striders have gone already and I'm the next one.

I leave for London tomorrow, and I fly the next day so actually this really is 'it'. And now that I've done all the goodbyes and finished my Commisioning Service this really is what it comes down to.

But as I was reminded in our devotions at orientation, He, God is worth it all. The goodbyes may be hard, and at times it may feel like a lot of work before I've even left but ultimately God is worth everything.

Thank you for all the support you have given, continue to pray for me as I leave and as I fly and settle into my new life in Brazil.
