Olá!
The summer is over, it's September and I've returned from both Momentum and ONE, soon it'll be the 25th September... the clock is counting down, the days are getting less and less and there's not long to go!
The time may be slipping away but I'm currently at allnations in Hertfordshire with four days of orientation still to go. It's proving to be a great time and God is continuing to answer prayer after prayer after prayer. It's been really great to be reminded of all that I have learnt at Redcliffe over the past three years, and whilst initially I was sceptical about the amount of content that would overlap I have been pleasantly surprised that despite the overlap God has taught me new things.
I have been really blessed to meet some great people who have a heart for Mission and Latin America in particular and had an enjoyable, surprise visit to a Bolivian church in Wimbledon.
All the preparations are in place and I only have to pack and leave. With only a few more days of orientation, packing and my Commissioning service to go it won't be long before I board the plane to Brazil. I am not nervous, yet, but I do especially ask for and value your prayers as I travel and for the first few days at least.
I aim to write again once I have arrived with a fuller newsletter but I can tell you already that God will do great things.

Thank God for:
- The great time at orientation so far and for the people I have met.
- For Latin Link and all that they do.
Pray for:
- Good endings and goodbyes.
- A safe flight and travels in Brazil in my first few days and weeks.
- Good settling in and adjustment to the new language, culture, climate and food.
- Provision of finances and prayer support.
