I awoke from my slumber in a very uncomfortable position on a rock hard floor. I opened the door of the tent to see a bloke cooking his breakfast on the barbeque and a kangaroo trying to steal it. It hopped over towards where we were camping. Chrissy was writing in her journal and Lincoln was eating Cheesy Puffs. It hopped a little closer.
Lincoln held out his hand and the roo came up and ate the cheesy puff. He then took out his camera, put his head next to the kangaroos head and took a photo. It was hilarious. It wasn't a small roo either.
We were then dive bombed by a few budgies and parrots. It was amazing to see this amount of wildlife. Well worth staying in Jervis Bay, even if the facilities weren't great.
We packed up and headed on to our next destination, Eden.
Luckily, Sam took one for the team and abandoned Sonic and moved over to Gonzo. I now had someone in the van to bounce off. We had an awesome trip, listening to cheesy tunes the whole time from my iPod.
Had much more distance to cover today so didn't take the scenic route and didn't stop off anywhere with perculiar names. Arrived at a campsite in Eden and asked the lady if we could stay. Had a lovely chat with her and went to set up camp. We had got the hang of setting up now so the tents were up in no time. Had a bit of a wander down to the beach. Which was amazing. I have never been anywhere as beautiful as that. Pictures and a video Panoramic to follow.
I grabbed the steak and the sausages we had bought that day and headed over to the barbecue. After a little set-back of not being able to light it, we were cooking with gas. I slapped the steaks on and a few minutes later we were all eating. Those steaks were fantastic.
I realised it was Laura's birthday so I gave her a bell... When she answered the phone she thought she had won a competion, due to the random phone number. Had a nice chat and then rang my mum. Again, had a nice chat and a catch up.
Downed a few more Carlton's, watched "Weekend At Bernie's" in Gonzo and hit the hay.
