My Trip
So from Surf School, we headed up to Bryon Bay, along the way we have stopped at some really nice spots like Macquarie, which was beautiful harbor town. The group get on really well, and we have decided to stay in Bryon Bay for a couple of days. Save rushing! The weather has been really nice too, in the late twenties most days, and the sun is always out. Bryon Bay is gorgeous; it’s not too crowded at the moment due to the spring season. The town is quaint, you can walk it in about 10 minutes ending with Paul Hogan’s (crocodile Dundee) bar, and the beach, what can I say? The Beach is huge stretching as far as the eye can see. With mountains just on the horizon. We ran into the sea and although it was a little nippy, you got used to it, and it is clear water. So gorgeous! There was a bar just outside our hostel, called cheeky monkeys, where we played games and danced on the tables. Luke is hilarious a really passionate dancer, and quite a lightweight being only 21, funny stuff though. We drank, laughed, danced and even limboed! We also visited the beach at night, which is really tranquil! The rest of the time in Bryon we literally chilled out, which suited Julian perfectly. As he is now the most chilled person in the world undisputed. Wicked to have around though, we get on really well. Bryon Bay was topped off with a sunset, and some didgeridoo playing at night! So in love with this place, its perfect. A really gorgeous little beach town. Unfortunately my camera was stolen from my bag on the beach so I have limited pictures of Bryon, but I shall try to get some of Shawn’s before we leave. Off to Brisbane next.
