This serves as a recap of my first session as well as what lead after.
The first session was awesome, and basic. They needed to get a feel of my standard of technique I guess, so it was all the basic stuff. I learn quickly and found that most of what I knew wasn't actually perfect, by Thai standards. I was sweating and yet my class didn't last very long. I guess because it's a Saturday, and because they don't train on Sunday, it's just a very chilled day. Understandable! Well anyway, during the training there seemed to be 2 particularly good fighters being trained by one of the more renowned teachers in Thailand apparently. After my training I continued to watch them, they were very inspiring - technique faultless. They have been staying here for over a month. There are guys from all over the world looking to improve their Muay Thai - two from Russia, one from Greece, one from Netherlands and a girl from Vietnam. Everyone is very friendly too.
After training we sat around a table and casually had supper which consisted of fruits, steak, rice and raw vegetables a la carte style. I took a pic.
