Well, I've officially arrived here and it's a lot different to the luxurious hotel. This place is all about Muay Thai, from conversations to training to even eating - for my first meal here I had three fried eggs and 5 slices of bread with milk - now that's what I call hearty! I'm excited about this! Everyone is friendly and no one speaks fluent English but for Master Woody and he's wife Jill. Everyone here comes from a life of martial arts. There's a team of Lebanese boxers here training at the moment.
My room is standard - basic! It's perfect, I'm here to train Muay Thai and that's it!
The afternoon training begins in a bit and I'm quite nervous!
Can't wait to let you know how it goes!
By the way, right now I hear Thai gongs and authentic cultural music and chants coming from not so far off from my room. All I can say is that I'm obviously in the deep of it and that I'm most definitely in it to win it, let's see how everything goes.
Oh, and of course I'm still running my practice, doing my hustle, got all my files right with me next to my bed! I think I may be the first SA lawyer to ever set foot in here.
