Hi everyone,
Thank you all for your messages, I have tried to reply to everyone but if I haven't already I will be doing so.
Well we haven't updated for a few days as we've been travelling quite abit. South Africa is very hard to see in just three weeks and we have rushed it a little so we can go on safari but i'm sure we'll be back one day.
On our last entry it was the day before we went to Cape Point. We got picked up at about 8 to go on the trip and the day was pretty cloudly and we expected rain. Our first stop was a place called Houts Bay (think thats how you spell it), anyway we went on a boat trip there to Seal Island where they have hundreds of seals. The boat ride was very choppy and it was abit misty so didn't really get any good pics. When we got back onto dry land I was very glad as I thought we were going over on the boat but luckily were both still here!!! We then took a drive down to Simons Town and Boulders beach where we went to see the jackass penguins. They have a colony on the beach where they are protected and there were loads of them. There were loads of little babies and mums sitting on their eggs aswell. Got a few pictures but they are abit far away so you can't really see the little ones. Once we had finished there we took a drive to the Cape Peninsula National Park where we got out and you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it but me and Dal got on bikes and rode to where we were having lunch. It wasn't just us that did it everyone on the bus did, we even had to wear helmets it was hilarious and I was surprised that I could still do it as I haven't ridden a bike since I was young. Unfortunately there is no evidence of us doing this as we forgot to take pictures, I was to busy panting and Dal was to busy trying to take over me!!! Once I had nearly died from the heat as the sun had now decided to come out we arrived at our lunch spot. We had lunch and everyone had the option to bike up to Cape Point, me and Dal chose not to take this option and got on the bus instead.  I'm really glad we did aswell as the hill to get up there was very steep and I would of had to push my bike up there!! Once everyone had got to Cape Point we had a few hours to look around and go to the top where the lighthouse is. Dal said we had to go up there as we wouldn't have gone to Cape Point properly if we didn't. Well I can tell you now we did it but I would never do it again I thought I was going to pass out, there are so many stairs it seemed like they were never ending. I mean this is the most exercise I have done in years (Car im on the road to being a lollipop!!!). Once you get up there the view is very nice Dal said it was worth all the effort I'm not quite convinced myself!! Dal took some video of us walking up and getting up there and you will see me not being a happy bunny. I did choose to wear and all black outfit and I was burning up in the sun (I didn't put cream on and burnt aswell). Once we had finished out exercise and got down from there we got on the bus and went to The Cape of Good Hope, took a few pics there and then headed home. When we arrived home we went and ordered a pizza so all my hard work went to waste and went to bed.
The next day we were leaving sunny Cape Town to head up on the Baz bus to Port Elizabeth. This took us from 8am to 9pm, a very long boring day on the bus and a bit of a crap way to do things but like I said as we only have a limited amount of time here its difficult not to miss things out. Anyway the place we stayed in wasn't that great so we were glad we were only there for one night in the end.
We left Port Elizabeth at around 7.30am to head up to Durban and this was another long day on the Baz bus. We arrived at our hostel at around 10pm and headed straight for bed pretty much. We had a few days booked there and we were glad not to be travelling the next day.
Woke up early as always (nothing changes with Dal around!), we took a taxi down to the uShaka marine world where we went into Sea World. They also had a waterpark but we didn't take our swim wear (Jade Dal forgot his speedos). For some reason we must of looked young as the lady gave us child tickets which saved us some money. We walked around for abit they had alot more sharks in this aquarium than the one in Cape Town and you could get in some of the tanks and snorkel. This was not a pretty site when you can see people in the tanks as the water is not the most flattering (I was glad I wasn't doing this). We also went and saw the dolphin show which was good, they have the oldest dolphin in captivity there and he has had lots of babies at the park. Once we had finished in Sea World we had a walk around for abit and then went and had some drinks. While we were having drinks the weather had started to get abit bad.  It started to thunder and lightening and then came the rain, everyone was saying don't worry its only a passing shower. After about 30 minutes it was still going and people were running around trying to get under shelter. By this time I had been shopping and brought myself what seems to be a fashion crazy here so Crocs. They are very comfortable and I was glad of them as I only had on flip flops and my feet would have been soaked. We braved the rain after about an hour and got a taxi back to the hostel. Our little hut was very nice but the only problem was the tin roof that it had. Trust me very heavy rain on a tin roof will keep you awake all night and that is what it did.
When we woke up the next day the rain was still going and didn't look like it was going anywhere soon. We took a taxi down to the mall where we had a look around the shops, went onto the internet and got some lunch. Unfortunately there was not much else we could do really as the rain was so bad. I was speaking to the guy at our hostel and he said they haven't had rain like that for a long time. I think we must have brought the weather with us especially as it has been so nice at home, you lucky things!! In the evening we just stayed in and watched the tv, we go a take away of a local thing called Bunny Chow, it is a quarter of a loaf of bread with the middle taken out and filled with curry. It was very nice but very spicey and very filling. I got more sleep this evening as the rain had died down but still not much and we had to get up early to get the Baz bus again!!!!
We were on the Baz bus to Swaziland at 8.15am, we had to cross the boarder into Swaziland and go through customs to get our passports stamped. Once we had done this we had another few hours drive to get to our hostel. The scenery was very nice and got a few pictures of the sunset aswell, we arrived at around 7pm so still along day for us. The hostel was nice and we had dinner there which was also very nice. We were glad of a good night sleep but had to get up early again to get the Baz bus to Nelspruit where we are now.
We arrived at Nelspruit at around 11am so it was the first place we had arrrived at in the day time which was nice. The hostel was really nice and our room was also very nice which we were pleased about as we were staying for 4 nights until we go on safari. The weather was really good aswell so we sat around the pool and I had a chance to catch some rays. We had another takeaway that nigh pizza again we are not eating very well some days but its hard when we are moving around so much.Â
We had a nice lay in for once in a few days and chilled out in our room. Dal went on the internet for a while and I sat and read my book in the garden. They have a really nice avery in the garden with loads of different birds, some rabbits and a tortoise. They also have loads of other animals, some dogs, cats, lizards and a pig. The day started off nice but then the weather turned again and there was a massive storm. It only lasted for an hour or so though which was ok. We made some phone calls home which is the first time since we have arrived sorry everyone.
Now we are here today had another lazy morning had breakfast at the hostel and chilled out. We then came down the the Riverside Mall to have a look around and get out some money. However we were side tracked by their Casino and we went in and played the slots as the tables weren't open as it was 11. Anyway we won around R1300 between us which was good and we walked away winners!!! We had a really nice lunch and then went to the cinema to watch Norbit. Now here we are in the Internet cafe in the mall and here is where our blog entry ends for now.
We will be going on safari on Wednesday so will update in a week or so.
We miss you all.
Speak to you soon.
Sorry there are no pics but I forgot to bring the camera out today so hopefully can add them back at the hostel.
Bye for now xxxxxx
