On the way to the boat mark couldn't stop being sick. Me Nick and Neal was winding him up saying it's love sickness as him and Steph had just said goodbye and won't be meeting up for a while. So we left Koh Tao as planned and caught the 3 pm ferry back over to Koh Phangan. Today being the 30th, so with a night to spare until the big party, being new year. We arrived and jumped straight in a taxi and headed straight back to our old Guess house. We had arranged with them before leaving to save a room for us as we will definitely be back on the 30th. So we came back to Koh Tao. My reason being i wanted to do my advanced diving and the other lads just needed some time to chill after a manic time in Koh Phangan. Sounds like a good plan as i can do with some rest time too. We arrived back and tried to check in to our old room but unfortunately it was fully booked so we got one near by. There was four of us crammed in to 1 double bed and a single bed. The room was tiny, i doubt you could of even swung a cat ...

So we got the ferry from Koh Tao and arrived in Koh Phangan about 1 pm. we was debating on where to stay, either had rinn thats where everything happens or had thai. Apparently this was real close to had rinn so i went with the majority vote, being Nick and Neal. Mark stayed behind in Koh tao with Steph for an extra night. Our first two places we tried to check in too were all booked up. We found this really nice place what sleeps four people costing 1600 b...

So we get on our bus to head to Surat Thani. From here we was to get a connecting bus to the near by Koh Sok park. The bus to surat was to take about 6 hours. We arrived there and then found out we should of got off at a near by stop to Koh Sok park. Marks lack of planning took us 120 km past it. Good work lad. So we booked a ticket to stay in a hotel for a night and get a bus back there tomorrow morning. We got chatting to some italian dude on the journey...
