Happy new year to you all.

Have arrived on Koh Phangan this afternoon after getting extreemly pissed at a beach party last night. We were so drunk, Chris ended up spending some intimate time with a bush that he fell into. We then ended up having an arguement so I left him to it. God knows how I managed to find my way back to the hotel but I woke up (still drunk) in the right bed - result. Chris has also managed to get back ok and we just ended up laughing about the whole thing. They do these things called buckets which is basically a bottle of thai whisky, coke, red bull and loads of ice. After two of them between us plus some very large sambuka shots and loads of beer, I'm amazed that neither of us ended up drowning or something.

Haven't got a lot to say about Koh Phangan yet as I'm just chillin at the hotel at the mo. Andy was meant to meet me at the pier but didn't show so I suppose he's nursing a very sore hangover. I'll probably go to the legendary full moon party on the 3rd so look out liver, George Best would be proud.

Chris has headed back to Koh Samui today to get back to Bangkok to fly back to Blighty on the 2nd. Was hard work getting ourselves active today.

Have moved to a place called Seaview Thansadet resort which is on the east coast of Koh Phangan.  I can't believe it - what a result.  400 Baht a night for a bungalow on the mountin side,  with the best panoramic views of the jungle and sea.  There is a wicked trek through the jungle, down the mountain with these steps carved into the hill side.  It leads you right to this secluded beach/cove and there's hardly anyone here.  I really have found a slice of paradise here so am planning to stay for 10 days or so to improve my sun tan (which is s***e at them moment).  Need to renew my visa at some point which means I loose a day but it's got to be done.  The resort is well remote with no mobile signal, no televisions and no internet so I'm not going to be able to cantact anyone or update this site regularly (woo hoo!)
