Hi to family & friends reading this!
So, after a journey taking nearly 40 hours:
5 hours on the Megabus from Halifax bus station to London Victoria coach station...2 hours travel to Paddington and dropping our bags at left luggage for the day...2.5 hours walk near Hyde Park to stretch our legs and find lunch (Subway of course!)...1.5 hours to go and pick up our luggage from Paddington and step onto the waiting train for a quick journey to Terminal 4....2 hours wait before we could check in...2 hours wait in Costa Coffee and the duty free of Terminal 4.....
1st plane journey was smooth and took 10hr20mins to Seoul, South Korea (where it was 14:00 local time when we landed, or +8hr from UK)...On this journey we choose to have Korean dishes for tea and breakfast (both which were disgusting and inedible!)
5 looooong and boring hours in Seoul airport where our entertainment was free wifi, a dodgy Subway sandwich, the numerous travelators (flat excalator thingys), books/magazine, and an face and armpit wash in one of what seemed like 100's of airport toilets!
Our next flight took off on time from Seoul, where we quickly settled into watching some more films and having more airplane food (this time beef and then omelette for breaky)...We landed at 7am local time, passport control was quick and because we had nothing to delare (no food, soil, wood, etc) we only had to content with a small cute Beagle snifing our luggage as we walked through the exit to arrivals!
We jumped into a waiting taxi...arriving at the apartment in 10-15 minutes!
We unpacked and went for a walk (after having a shower of course!!) before the jetlag really kicked in. We have since been asleep, only now waking up to have our tea, and then I think we'll be in bed again before long!!

Lauren Thanks for blogging about the condition of your armpits, I was wondering how they were coping! Glad you got there ok - jetlag is a b***** isn't it! Trick is to stay awake. But you're probably over it by now! You should have declared walking boots at passport control and got a free clean, it was the first (and last) time my boots had a wash! And for free! :)
Laura Haha just seen this comment about armpits!! After all that journey we couldn't be bothered declaring our boots -and we were glad we didn't- as we seemed to be the only people with nothing to declare and walked through in 2 minutes! hehe! :)
