Maxine Hi L & D Hope your Xmas & New Year Celebrations in Oz. were memorable for all the right reasons. Am sure you felt a little homesick - or was that just sick from all the wine, beer & cheese tasting!! We hit the ground running on our retunr from the Maldives (where we got so chilled out we were almost horizontal). Chrsitmas day was hectic as we had Imogene & family for the day. then we both went down with colds and had to force ourselves to enjoy the Black & White New Year's Eve Ball we had booked to go to with Imogene & Ken, but after a few hot whiskeys, we got into the swing of things and a very late night was had. It has been unseasonably mild here, but we are told colder weather is coming. Enjoy Sydney, are sure you will be impressed with the Opera House et al, the ferry over to Manly is worth a trip. There is a very dodgy area just outside Sydnes can't remember the name, but am sure you have been forewarned and are street wise now. We stayed in a boutique hotel in Double Bay "Double Bay double pay", tres expensive! We didn't rate Bondai Beach, let us know what you think. Lovely to read your blogs, don't work too hard and hope you soon get your car fixed. Much Love - Edward & Maxine

Lozza It was great to speak to you all in Sheffield too :) We have just bought our passes for 3 theme parks (Sea World, Wet n Wild and Warner Bros Movieworld) which we can go to as many times as we want while we are here! We also treated ourselves to some 'xmas presents' (L-shorts and a dress, and D-shorts all in Boxing day sales). It's very hot today, but there is always a sea breeze which is nice. We will speak to you again on Skype I'm sure, between the Xmas and New Year activities! Lots of love xxxx

Father (xmas) Martindale It was super to see and speak to you this morning. Glad you are having a good Xmas. Hope you continue to have a great time on the Gold Coast over the New Year. Just back from a nice pm walk in the woods with AnJ & I & RnF. RnF now kipping!! Gran Glad had a kip whilst we were out - now talking again. Xmas dinner soon Yum Yum. Andrew and Helen Dear Laura and Danny. Looks like you are having fun mango picking. Where too next? We are day 3 in Toronto, its 11degrees and rainy today (obviously warm for time of year!) been to Niagara falls and up the CN tower, both walked on the glass floor 338metres high!! Soon moved off when a bunch of school kids started jumping up and down on it! Train to Montreal on saturday where we might get a bit of snow but Banff is where we are expecting our snow fix :-) Try and message over christmas, safe travelling look forward to more photos.
