Yesterday we went to the beautiful Yuyang gardens and had our first Chinese Tea at the Huxinting Teahouse - we had black tea, a chrysanthemum lotus leaf tea and lots of little snacks including a tea soaked quails egg!! Then we went to the French Concession and had the Shangainese signature dish, xiaolongbao (steamed dumplings), which is now my favourite food!
In the evening we went and saw the acrobats which was absolutely, incredibly mind boggling resulting in a finale of 8 motorbikes in a spherical cage!!!
Today we are going around the Bund and Pudong - the most famous sights of Shanghai, having lunch in the TV tower in a revolving restaurant and tonight going to a home style Shanghainese restaurant followed by a jazz and blues bar on the bund to see the famous skyline lit up at night!!
