First night out of Alice Springs heading north stayed at Tropic of Capricorn rest area, close to road but not noisy.
Then onto Taylor's creek rest area with about 15 other campers. No pics.
Stopped at Devils marbles for morning tea. Amazing phenomenon. There was a dingo in the car park.
Easy drive onto Tennant creek, where we set up this new blog. Spent 3 frustrating hours setting up the blog. Grrrrrrr, but hope you all enjoy it. Fuelled up then pulled into attack creek rest area (Stuart's monument) for the night, just fitted in as we arrived after 4.30.
Another big drive, only 190kms for the day, feel like we are slowing down. Spent 2 days at Longreach waterhole (Elliott). It took us 40 minutes to drive the road in from the highway but certainly well worth the drive. Heaps of bird life, (pelicans, Hawks, mud larks, shags) Awesome sunsets (sunrises are probably awesome too but never awake at that time of the morning)
