So we are almost ready to leave on our epic journey. I finished work, sold everything we own through garage sales, gumtree and giving away to charity's and family, it's amazing the stuff you accumulate over a life time. But we now have just 5 boxes of memories stored at mums and the rest is in the van. We leave in 10 days and can't wait to get on the road. Had a great long weekend visiting my son in Wagga Wagga. We scaled the rock, well half way, the kids made it to the top, had some awesome gelato at Gelatisimo to cool us down. The next day we had an amazing breakfast, of course eggs Benedict, and this one did not disappoint, followed by some retail therapy and the grand final. Went for a trek up to the Rock with Bill Sarah and Emily. Sign said it was hard and u should be fit. So we think we did alright getting half way after doing absolutely no fitness all year. Kids made it to the top. Better luck next time. Great day anyway.
