On Sunday morning we left from Melbourne to drive back to Scone. We decided on an inland route because we wanted to see more of the country side of Australia. We saw many interesting places, forests, farms, animals (including Emus!), museums (like the car museum in Forbes) on our way. We slept the night at a camping site at a small town called Wyolong. From there we drove to Parks, Wellington, etc. until we were finally at Glenoak, Peter and Alison Hodges farm about 18km from Scone on the New England Highway. Here we spent our last 2 and a half days, just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful farm live. Sarath attend to Alison's car while Alida and I read in front of the fireplace....
I have to mention that we stopped at a public school in Wellington. Sarath went to meet the principal and they came to fetch me(I didn't feel that I looked smart enough in my camping clothes to visit a school) to have a look around. It is a well equipped school with smart boards in each classroom and looks very functional and disciplined.
