On Sunday morning we left from Melbourne to drive back to Scone. We decided on an inland route because we wanted to see more of the country side of Australia. Melbourne is a huge stretched out city. The harbour and city centre has a lot of character. The main station building and the trams reminded me a bit of Hannover in Germany. It is green everywhere with many trees and bungalow type of houses. You hardly see any blocks of flats. The roads are wide and with many traffic and road signs so that it is easy to drive here. In my opinion Canberra is a bit of a boring city, quiet with not much traffic or much going on. However, we were only 2 nights, one day, there so I might be wrong. Friday, July 19th We got up early at 6am to continue with our journey. At Coffs Harbour we stopped for breakfast and coffee. July 15th We had a smooth drive from Sippy Downs to Brisbane. It was a bit difficult to find a parking space for the camper but finally after Alida and I looked around Alida went back to show Sarath where I was waiting and keeping a big enough space.
