Well, I made it! I left New London just before 5pm, and after a quick stop for some Shawarma with a friend in New Haven, drove all the way here to Phillie. Sadly, my power outlet burned out 5 minutes after starting. This presented a problem, as most of you know I tend to plug three to five things in whenever I find an outlet. One of which being the all important GPS. Thankfully, the battery lasted all the way to Phillie. Tomorrow, it's Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and an auto shop to try and fix my electrical system :-( Couple more notes of interest. It turns out New Jersey rest stops have Starbucks! THAT was good marketing. Also, gas is much cheaper once you get out of CT. And finally, Philadelphia does not believe in asphalt. I have never seen so many cobblestones!!!

Anyways, my current bed is located at the Bank Street Hostel. This 70 bed hostel is located three blocks from Independence Hall, and is very hospitable. I recommend it to anyone who comes to Phillie.
