Got up early to book up Johns recommendation for the Whale watching which is lucky as they were quickly sold out as it was such a lovely day.

We sailed out of the harbour in search of the humpback whale and was soon rewarded with a sighting of a mum and baby whale but they were not particularly entertaining as the baby was attempting in flight re-fueling so we left them in peace.

We suddenly came across a whole gang of humpbacks who appeared exited to have some attention.... When suddenly their were exited shouts coming from everybody onboard to see a huge whale vertically emerging at high speed from the water - I swung around my camera which by chance captured the next whale emerging "what a photo" we were so exited with even the hardened crew members were saying it was pretty rare to see, they continue to play for awhile by rolling over and striking the water with their huge 10 foot flippers. What a day ..... We headed back highly delighted to prepare for the wedding.
