Once again some very interesting updates! TO get the negatives out of the way way, I believe I was pickpocketed yesterday morning. Either way, this resulted in the loss of myu purse containing a lot of money, driving license, and cash card. I was left to deal with the non English speaking police, whichst poor mum and dad tried to find another mothod of getting money to me!

ANyhow that out of the way, I just came back from an amazing day white water rafting. Beautiful weather, I am having to wear 50 factor most of the time because sun is so intense! Saw mumming birds, a toucan, and an iguana! Very exhilarating as it was 30km long and number 5 best rapids in the world.

Other major update which I happy to be able to explain in detail on here as is hard over the etelephone is that we are moving out of San Jose. For various reasons by group decideds that we wanted out of the city, and the academy gave us a very interesting alternative. 7 out of 10 have decided to go to El Silencio, a cooperative organic farm including a wildlife refuge, a school desperate to learn english, and lots of plants and animals. We will be living with one of the very poor families in the tiny village and have been warned that it will really be basicc. Our help is desperately wanted there so we are staying from sunday night until friday evning. Will certainly be an experience. I can imagine you already laughing at the idea of me working on a farm! The weather will be scorching so we all hav to take care. To give you an idea of how basic it is, there is only one tv in the village!

ANyhow, as I leav tomorrow evenign for Manuel Antonio,and go straight there to El Silencio afterwards, this will be my last computer or phone access for some time! Apologies in advance for the bad typing as am on a very rubbish computer and can not see what I am typing!!! Love to all
