The end of one tale and the start of another...
Apologies to those who read my outback adventure blog and saw that it isn't actually complete. I can't really make a good enough excuse as to why so I won't!
The rest of the tour was fantastic. We had 3 big hikes on the last 3 days. The first being the Uluru base walk, then Kata Tjuta and KingsCanyon.  For all the walks we were up before 5am so we could watch the desert sunrises which were beautiful. We also had to do the walks before it got too hot. By the time we got to Alice Springs we were all in need of a good nights sleep in a real bed but it didn?t stop is from getting together in the evening for dinner and drinks and a final goodbye. I can honestly say that this trip has been the highlight of my time in Australia. Not only for the places I have seen but for the wonderful people I met. Definitely worth all that hard work and saving when I was in Sydney. I am now in a little town called Nyabing about 4 hours from Perth. I have been here for about 3 weeks working at the local pub. It is really good to be in a place where everyone knows everyone; I?ve been made to feel really welcome. Plus I?ve had the opportunity to go out to the local farms and see what they do. Drove a tractor and 2 Utes last week which was great fun! I?m here for another 3 weeks and then I fly up to Cairns to see the top part of Queensland. Looking forward to a bit of sun again as it is getting bloody cold here! Love to you all xxx
