I finally made it to Byron Bay and yes it is as good as everyone says. I have had a really chilled day on the beach. Not quite sunbathing weather but warm enough for a snooze in the sun! I have booked a tour to the weird and wonderful town of Nimbin tomorrow and then an early sunrise tour on monday morning. Just got back from my Whitsunday Island Sailing Trip. 3 days and 2 nights on the luxury maxi yacht the Anaconda 2. Had a fantastic time! Swam with reef sharks which was scary but amazing. I had an underwater camera so I hope that the photos I took come out well. We spent a lot of time relaxing on deck and reading which suited my perfectly. Cape Tribulation was awesome! Well apart from the torential rain that started late Wednesday night and didn't stop until mid morning Thursday - I suppose it is called a Rain Forrest for a reason. Arrived in Cairns in the early hours of the 4th June. Had the pleasure of sleeping at the airport until a human time where I got my hostel to pick me up from the airport. It was so nice to get a few hours sleep that morning, especially after loosing 2 hours from the journey from the west to the east coast of Australia.
