G'day mate.....
Soooooo Australia, So far it just feels like England, but actually worse!
We got to Brisbane and visited the South bank.. a man made beach in the middle of the city! A little sereal but actually pretty cool. Not quite the beaches of Fiji or anywhere else for that matter but defo an experience.
After a little sunbathing and shopping (where we obviously didnt buy anything :-P) it was time to move to Noosa.
Arrived in blue skies and of course insisted on topping up the tan :-) a cheeky dance in the pub and a few agro words with some idiotic locals... time to get some kip! but not before searching the WHOLE of Noosa for a kebab shop, which never actually happened, even Perranporth has a frigging kebab shop!!! Travelling is definitely exhausting!!
Time for some time on the beach with a book. That was pretty much day two! We returned to find our new roomies..... 3 aussie lads who had already started drinking by 5! So much for a quiet few drinks!! Bonus of them having already being half cut.... they bought our drinks for the night and I believe maybe even our food Met some more locals who agreed to give us a surf lesson the next day (I believe the aussies agree to things whislt hammerred but still follow this up!!)
Sooo day 3 in Noosa was Zoo time. As it was a quiet night the night before.... Vic decided to be ill for the majority of the day at the Zoo. Once the toilet stops had finally finished, we managed to feed the elephants, stroke the kanga's, fall in love with Koala bears, not get eaten by crocs, visit africa and visit the other boring animals (not boring just cant remember what else we saw!!)
Ok so now.... you will all be really pleased to know that we are stuck, yup stuck, in Noosa due to floods. We jumped on a bus, then turned round and came back again! so our rain coats are out in force (though Vic's is apparantly not waterproof so seems a little silly to have brought it!!) So yeeeeeeeeeeee..... there is about 50 of us all in the same situation and never though coming to Aus would mean floods! We could have that back home I bet if we wanted!!!
Any-hoo.... I have no furtehr updates for you until we actually manage to get out of Noosa!!!
