Brekko at Dome for the four of us. A lovely luxurious sunday morning treat. from there we headed off to Caversham Wildlife Park. I was like a child I was so excited. We saw some stunning birds, Koalsa and I even fed that Kangaroos! There were some tiny babies which were lovely but there were some full size ones which are far less lovely. One was big it almost had a six pack! The mum ones had the joeys in their pouches and more than once I saw a little leg poking out. I thought it was utterly amazing. The boys were less than enthusiastic and the kids had a row. Just me that was having the time of my life!
The enthusiasm levels of the boys increased at the prospect of dawdling round the car museum. Me and Bill opted out of that and decided, instead, for a wander round the little craft shops and an ice cream. The park is lovely and was packed with people having bbqs and picnics. we jut dont get the weather in the UK.
Next stop the Feral Brewery. Nick saw a Youtube video before we came away and has been dying to get there. We plotted up in the garden and the boys got stuck in to the beer. They tried a tasting platter which gave them 6 little glasses. I thought they all tsted like s***e. I dont think they were too impressed. It was more the novelty value more than anything. Rob and Fiona joined us by which time poor Fella was 3 sheets to the wind with Nick not far behind.
Dinner consisted of left-over from the fridge and we soon sat down to watch a film that Nick has been harping on about. It was about Jack the Ripper. !0 mins in Nick nodded off and the rest of us agreed we'd already seen it.
