So, we left Bangkok on Monday and headed south to Koh Tao. After a 12 hour overnight bus and boat combo we finally arrived at our destination very hot and very tired. The accommodation we picked left a little to be desired but it was right on the beach and had a lovely view so we tried not to complain too much. Koh Tao was nice but full of divers and since that's not us we decided to stay just one night and in the morning we got the boat to Koh Phangan. After our experience in Koh Tao we decided to fork out for an air conditioned room which was a good plan. What wasn't a good plan was exploring the area around the bungalows which led to us taking a little detour across some marshy land and on a mini adventure involving lots of mud and climbing over fences. We eventually made it back to our bungalow safe and sound but decided it was best if next time we just stuck to the road when wandering around. We're hoping to go to the Half Moon Party tonight which is meant to be even better than the more famous Full Moon Party but as it was raining this morning we're just playing it by ear but fingers crossed...........
