So we've arrived!!! Landed in Bangkok at around four pm. Got a taxi with Mark to our hostel - which is amazing!! Headed over to Cabbages and Condoms for a yummy Thai meal with Hayley, Az and co - did our bit for Thailands HIV awareness. We were pretty tired on Saturday after the flight so headed back to our hostel for a good nights sleep - but we didnt get one!!! Yesterday we caught the sky train to the river then got a boat to go visit Wat Pho and Grand Palace. On the way we met two Aussie guys from Melbourne - arranged to meet them when we are over there! Unfortunately the Grand Palace was closed for the King's sisters funeral so we could only see it through a gate. Yesterday evening we ventured out into Silom and went to a random little vegetarian Indian restaurant - our entire meal only came to 50TB! Today we had our first Tuk Tuk experience on our way to the MBK shopping centre. We are now waiting for our taxi to the bus station in central Bangkok as we are heading to Ko Tao for a couple of days before jumping on the ferry to Ko Phangan for the Half Moon Party on Thursday!
