Well we had better update you all on what we have been up to since the last entry...

On our last day in paris we had planned to do a little more sightseeing, but when we checked out of the hotel at 12pm it was pouring with rain! so that changed our plans slightly. we ended up catching a cab to the train station and then the train straight to the airport, we got to the airport at about 2pm. our flight wasnt till 720pm so when we arrived we sat down and ate some lunch. After sitting around for a few hours we checked in our bags and everything and went through to the waiting area...we then found out our flight was delayed, it didnt say until when, so we waited and waited. we were finally off the ground at about 9pm!! Thank god it was a short flight and Uncle Colin was at the airport waiting to pick us up, it was a long exhausting day of waiting and we both fell asleep in the car on the way home :)

We had a lovely weekend, on Saturday we went to Cambridge and had a look around. it was such a beautiful day for it. we stood above a canal where people hired boats and we had a really good laugh as we waited for someone to fall in, unfortunately it didnt happen :(

That night when we got home, we went to anne's house (Uncle Colin and Aunt Sheila's daughter) to meet the family, and then we drove to the restaurant where we had dinner. It was an italian restaurant and the food was lovely. It was such a good night meeting everybody, Id definitely love to do it again!

On Sunday we didnt have much planned, we thought we would go to madame tussaudes but we didnt go, we had a nice drive through the country before we came back to Neils auntys house in Tottenham. Thankyou so much again to colin and sheila for the wonderful time we had with you, cant wait to see you both when you come to aus next :)

Back at Elaynes we basically ate some food (stewed peas with oxtail) and then went straight to bed! we have both been so worn out lately, i think we need a few days of relaxation...maybe in jamaica lol.

Today we finally went to Madame Tussaudes, it was alot of fun, half the time you couldnt figure out who was real and who was fake! got lots of photos to post, will add those after i write, we dont have as many as paris lol. we caught the bus and train into town where we wanted to go to the travel agent to see about changing the tickets. she didnt help us at all which was disappointing but we have to live with it now i spose, cant be bothered doing it if its going to be complicated!

then we went to meet elaynes friend at her work and then we walked to Madame Tussaudes. Elayne gave us her phone so that when we were finished we could call them to come and meet us...she forgot however that the phone had a pin number on it so we couldnt use it at all! we sat outside for about 20mins waiting for them to come. after that we came straight home, we bought chinese on the way for dinner which was nice! anyway now we are worn out again so we are going to relax for a bit and then pre-pack to see if we need to buy another suitcase!!!
