Hi everyone.

Just a quick update, but no photos becuase the camera battery died and we didnt have a power converter to charge it. that just happens to be in the other bag that hasnt been returned yet. we will call tomorrow to see what is going on with it. hopefully it will turn up.

Last night i met some more of neils family, they came over just as we were getting tired so we had to stay up a little later than we thought. as soon as they left though we were off to bed. i was exhausted.

Today we woke up and had some breakfast (my usual is jam on toast with hot milo lol and neil will eat whatever is on the stove) after we ate, we showered and got dressed to go into town. Before we left it started raining...Neils family called it heavy rain but it was only drizzling compared to what we get in darwin. it was cold though but im coping with it really well. im starting to enjoy this weather actually. its nice to be able to wear alot of clothes....not like darwin where u want to be half naked all of the time lol.

I used the underground for the first time and we got off at Oxford Circus where we did a little shopping, we went to the Nike store which is huge!! I got a cute outfit there which i will take photos of soon, and we went to footlocker where neil bought some new timberlands. we made sure they fit him this time lol. We bought a power adapter and a foldaway map of paris...so we are charging the camera now so we can use it tomorrow when we venture out for the first time on our own!! Oh, we also passed the disney store and i thought we should go in and find something for dija, which we did. i hope it will fit her :) we wont tell you what it is, you will have to wait and see lol.

For dinner tonight when we came home i had curry goat for the first time and it was quite nice actually, neil made sure she made it so it wasnt too spicy for me. I think you would all like it if you tried it. we also ate fried dumplings....kinda like little balls of bread or something like that, yummy :)

Thats about it for today, we are both worn out. hope all is well.
