Well, the last 3 weeks have been crazy!!!! We have done so much. I dont know where to start!!!

Vicky and Heather arrived into Sydney on 15th Dec. For the first week of their holiday, we took them on a road trip to see some of the sights. We drove from Sydney to Aulbury stayed there for 1 night, then drove on to Melbourne (our old home!) Had scorching weather so we hit St Kilda beach to soak up some of the sun! Stayed in Melbourne 2 nights. On the 2nd night we took the girls to the official Neightbours night!! (Mine & Clare's 2nd time!!) Dr Karl was there, along with Rachel & Zeek!! We had a brilliant night. Lots of fun and laughter!
The following day, we set off on the Great Ocean Road, stopping at all the sights along the way; Bells Beach, Apollo Bay, Port Campbell, Twelve Apostles, London Bridge, Loch Ard etc. We stayed one night in Port Campbell, to break up the journey. Travelt to Adelaide the next day. It was a loong journey but was worth it. Adelaide was a lovely city. Very quite but very beautiful. We spent one night there and then set off on our return to Sydney. Arrived back in Sydney late Saturday evening. 3639km completed in one week!! Quite an achievement.

Christmas Eve is all a bit blury! We started the night having a quiet get-together at Fran, Cherly & Lindsey's flat. The night ended at the World Bar in Kings Cross!! Woke up Christmas day, with a stinking hangover!! Finally surfaced early afternoon! Met some friends at the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel and then went back to there flat for a BBQ and a movie session! Weather wasnt great - very overcast but warm. Tre rain managed to hold off.

Boxing Day (Clare's Birthday) - Glorious sunshine!!! We went to the Randwick Races. We got free entry because it was international day. Had a few winners which mad the day even better! A great time had by all. Lots of Champagne consumed! Ended the night in Fringe Bar on Oxford Street.

NYE!!!!!!!! Spectacular. House party in Pyrmont. Amazing views of the fireworks over the Harbour Bridge, as well as the ones over Darling Harbour, and North Sydney. Caught the 9pm family showing and the spectacular 12pm display. Got a few good photos and 1 or 2 brief videos so I can look back at them in a few years time and relive the moment all over again! The party went on until the early hours of the morning. Got home about 5am!!

The Girls left this morning :(
We did so much in the 3 weeks they were here! Me & Clare are back 2 work on Monday. Its not long till we are off on the long trip up the West Coast. We fly to Perth on 5th Feb. Something to look forward to
