We arrived into Lima after a flight full of turbulance, and delays!

We stayed in Miraflores in a very standard hostel to be fair! First impressions of Peru and especially Lima.... FOREIGN !! No one speaks English, and yeah yeah we were warned about this but I never actually thought it was true!!

So we wandered around all day monday, watched the England, France game thinking we would meet other English people, after all 2012 is our year to win Euro right?? Ha!! But no, no-one else thought England were worth it, having watched it I do agree!! There were a few Aussies there thou, obviously supporting the French!

I have literally been out of the UK for ten minutes and i'm already drinking beer!! Which by the way I DO NOT ENJOY! Give me vodka anyday! So yeah, travelling is forcing me to change already! No handbag, just a sexy rucksack, no hair straightners (althou I did fit the hairdryer in!), and drinking beer!! wow! What will I come back as?! Haha!

Anyway, we have now left the wonderful Miraflores and are heading south to Paracas to go to the Islas Ballestas Islands and maybe the National Park... Hoping to see Penguins and Sea Lions... and absolutely PRAYING no bird s***s on my head, I forgot a hat!! And I have to add the buses, Cruz del Sur are immense!! Omg.. i've never been on a bus like it! Fully reclining chairs, food, drinks, blanket and pillow! Unreal! I was dreading these long bus journeys but I dont think ill mind as much in these bad boys!! Ha!!
