After a three hour flight, waiting around for two hours and then a one and half hour bus journey in the coldest bus EVER, we were finally at the Porto de Galinhas! Or should i say the BEACH! Yay!

We booked the flights and i have literally counted down from June 24th for this day! HEAVEN! Sun, sea, sand... Amazeballs!

Porto de Galinhas has been voted Brazils best beach 12 times! And i can see why! It has these tide pools that when the tide is low you can catch a little boat to, we didnt do this thou because the tide was all wrong when we were here but we saw some at night and they just looked like rock pools!

Wierd weather here thou.. Perfect all day (might get a bit cloudy in the afternoon) and then at night (always about 5:30pm) it rains!! And omg it rains.. It comes in waves too which is annoying because you can never be sure its completely stopped or whether its just having a little rest! We got it completely wrong first night and got soaked and eaten alive by mosquitos! :-/ not happy!

The actual place is small but nice.. It has tons of boutiquey shops and bikini shops! And they have some amazing shoes here! I resisted! Getting pretty good at that now with shopping! Will rectify this when i am home! Haha! I did buy a Brazil flag sarong thou! But thats a necessity!! Im on the beach after all until we come home! Ha!

The bars in Porto de Galinhas are a little slow but the drinks are good to make up it! :-) we went to an all you can eat buffet (diet is going well for the beach bod!) and they brought meat round straight from the bbq! It was amazing!!!

Three days on the beach has left both of us sunburnt thou! But the killer tan will be there by the time we fly home!! :-)

Anyway off to Salvador now and the next beach! :-)
