So we have finally arrived! Hello Bolivia!! First impressions?

La Paz is a bit of a weird one! Its a cheap city, the pavements are shocking (i nearly fall over everytime i go anywhere) their actually slippy! Dont ask how i dont know but they are slippy as anything and your walking up hill so you can imagine the hard work, at altitude.

We are by the way residing at 3,800 above sea level... HIGH! And with that and the hills i get out of breath just going one street!

We are staying at Loki Hostels here and LOVING it! Its such a nice place, and the bar is awesome... Someone (wont name names) had a little too much to drink first night and moannnneeddd all the next day about it afterwards! Ha!

La Paz is so so so cheap! Its 10 bolivians to the £1! Im in heaven! Food is so cheap! And tasty!! One nil to Bolivia against Peru!

There also markets here!! The Witches market is pretty cool, althou it is more like just a street of shops rather than your traditional market.. But still its meant ive gone shoppinggg! Not quite the same as topshop and forever 21 but STILL! :-)

And the PRISON! San Pedro Prison, the one Marching Powder is all about! We didnt go in it, there were tons of what we assumed were the wives and girlfriends and children of the prisonners queuing outside to get it! And all the prisonners were standing right against the gates.. Very wierd!! We tried to get close but a police man told us off and ushered us on!! It was right next to the plaza which was really nice really in the centre of town and it didnt look like a prison there were no signs or anything!!

We are doing a few really cool things out of La Paz, the Worlds Most Dangerous Road and the Jungle Pampus Tour in Rurrenbaque!
