So because we are in Argentina and its the middle of their winter the urge to go skiing was too big! So we booked a day trip skiing!

We decided to go to Las Lenas because it is the closest one.. And as it turned out one of the best one for 'advanced' skiers! Haha!

So the night before we left we went to collect out skis and boots! Excitinggg!! I couldnt wait!

We left Mendoza at 2am to arrive in Las Lenas at 8ish.. Yeah well that didnt happen did it! The bus got stopped by Police at a kinder boarder crossing thing and searched and some absolute douche bag had brought weed on the bus.. A massive amount of it and stored it in a Pringles box! It filled the whole Pringles box (a big one) from bottom to top! So because they found that we all had to get off (it was FREEZING) and wait for them to search everybodys bags! We were not impressed! This was valuable skiing time we were missing!! We finally left again after about 30 mins but it felt much mch longer and headed into the resort.. This took another 45 minutes so we finally arrived at about 9:30!!

We hit the slopes at 9:45! Faster turn around EVER! Now just gota mention this, we didnt plan to come skiing so we didnt have ski wear.. I wore walking trousers with trackies underneath and my coat.. My gloves werent skiing ones so i couldnt touch the snow.. I would be fine providing i didnt fall over!

There werent many slopes to be honest but it was absolute PERFECT for a days worth of skiing! We did ever slope, about 25 in total and all blues, reds and blacks! It was such fun!!

I was doing absolutely fine, hadnt forgotten how to do it at all.. We even went off pisteing and i was fine.. Until i decided to make tom take a pic of me and was trying to tell him when to take it and i absolutely STACKED it! OMG i flew.. One ski went one way and one went the other! My glasses, hair, hat, trousers, and gloves were all covered in snow.. Considering these werent properly snow items i was screwed! My gloves had snow all stuck to them and my trousers were soaked!!

That was right at the end of the day too, literally our last slope i was sooo annoyed id fallen over! Ha!

We then had a coffee (to warm me up) in the bar and headed back to the bus to go back to Mendoza!

It was an incredible day skiing and it has made me want to go soo bad when we get home!!!
