So the journey from Thailand into Malaysia was a bit funny. To save $10 (it may not seem like a lot, but when you are on a tight budget like us, that is almost half of our daily budget!) we decided to take the longer route, which only got us in 3 hours later then if we were to pay the ten  dollars more. Krabi is ok. The visa run was pretty simple so we were lucky to catch the 930pm bus...or so we thought. What we didn't realize was how close Krabi was.
