Hi, It was a nice surprise when I logged into Kodak website earlier and saw a slide show of my cats all happy and chilled so thanks Barry for that - you will see what Ive done with one of the photos! . Also to Mum and Steven for attempting to get their drops in which is something I never mastered! I can see they are not going to want to be returned back to Swindon after their holiday in Devon having constant attention, roast dinners and fish! .............................Dad if you have managed to log in to the website this is to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY although Im pretty sure you will ever navigate in here without the help of Steven when he visits you so never mind..................................
My time in Australia is coming to an end and I will have to look at confirming my flight over to Fiji next week where I plan to stay a couple fo weeks.. then its onto LA so you never know Rups I may see you there - Ill be there around mid June but probably not end June as it will be time to come home!

Hi nut
I have just seen all your recent photos courtesy of Barry. You are certainly experiencing some amazing things. I really like the sound of Thailand and think someday I will have to go there - but actually all the places you have gone to sound and look brilliant. You will be pleased to know that your car is still safe and sound and I believe that dad is going to give it a wash tomorrow. We have just had a full on struggle with Bowser to put his eye drops in. It took all three of us to get it done. Also, Yoshi is looking very guilty - we think he has just eaten a fish from the pond!!!
Anyway, going now to experience a Barry made curry.
Send an e-mail please when you get time.
love
steve
ps - barry will send a bill in the post for the poor fish that has been lost

Your right Nigel it was a very long journey! I spent 12 hours on a coach last night and could of flown to Thailand in that time! Luckily there were people from Sydney coming up this way to keep me company and also with my ipod and the bonus that the coach wasnt full I could stretch out and sleep...Thought it best to do this first bit in one big go as now got lots of much smaller journeys to take me up to Cairns. Im In Bryon Bay and its seems nice from what Ive seen so far.

Hi Christina, It sounds like you're having the time of your life! I had to post a message because a) I haven't done so yet and didn't want to let your trip go by without saying hello and b) Your latest entry brought back so many memories of my time in Sydney / Australia.
I was swept out to sea at Bondi and thought i was going to drown and got vertigo in the Blue Mountains! And after working there for a year or so, I set off on a similar greyhound bus ride up to Cairns (then onto Alice, Adelaide and Perth) My first advice would be to get lots to read and listen to because it's a very long journey! Sydney is a great place, I won't recommend anywhere because all the places I used to go have probably closed down now, but if you end up in the Bull and Bush in Bondi Junction, I lived next door!
Keep posting! the nation is reading your every word.
Take Care.
Nigel x

It seems like the Internet of the developed world has yet to reach some of the far off Colonies!!

Glad to hear you stayed for the new year celebrations, it was too good an opportunity to miss! You sound as if travelling suits you, but you have to remember to come back, even if it's only to pack another bag to travel again! Actually, there's not a lot to tell you about England that would even compare with the experience of globe trotting, so I won't try and bore you with News or fashion stuff, as from that last outfit you were in I can see that "Fashion is no-longer an issue with you"!!
Anyway, Happy Easter and keep in touch. LOL x

Its New Years Day here in Thailand today and Ive never seen anything like it. I took my camera out with me at 10am when I first went up the street and took a few pictures but then had to head back to hotel to abandon everything as the party really got going. It is now 6.30pm here and everyone is completely soaked and has clay and talcon powder all over their bodies. I am sat here drenched and covered in clay so came inside for a bit of a break as it is going to carry on all night and for 3 days.... The Thais and tourists are all carrying massive water pistols and buckets and there is not one street in Bangkok where the streets are not packed with them all partying. It is quite an experience and am glad I witnessed it on my last day but not sure how Im going to get to airport tomorrow! Think Ill have to leave about 2 hours earlier than normal so the taxi can slowly go past all the crazy people! Its a shame I cant take any pictures of all the Thai people but I dont think my camera would survive the soaking it would get.

It all looks very lush and the beaches great. Not sure about the bugs and humidity! Have you met Dumbo yet? You're going to get such a culture shock when you get back here, but think of the memories! What will you be doing over Easter? Turtle eggs?
Christina
Glad many of you are liking the new outfit! Some of you have suggested I have secretly got married to a Thai waiter in it but thats not happended yet! Ill try and take my camera out a bit more in the evening and get some action shots (especially for you Lisa!) x

Hi Nut
Apologies for my absence - I lost the log-in and Barry has now kindly sent me it so I can keep up to date with your travels. It sounds like you are having an amazing time. I love the new outfit -it really looks nice on you. You'll be pleased to know that it's still cold here (plus windy) although we have now gained an extra hour so we are hopeful that summer is on the way. Apparently, it's been the coldest March in a number of years.
I hope you have been trying some local cuisine while you are there - i know it must be difficult having to get used to places that don't have a Mcdonalds!! I expect you to be able to cook a decent Thai red or green curry when you come back - no excuses.
Anyway, continue having a wild time - I will post again soon.
Love Steve
Lisa
T,
Glad to see you in you're latest outfit - we should start winning some deals if you demo in that! Keep the pictures and journals coming preferably with some action shots!
