christina Hi, Well it was hard to drag myself off the beach at Fiji especially as lots of people had been telling me that LA was nothing special as some people are doing the same route as me but in the opposite direction. But after some other travellers advise I am staying in Santa Monica so am out of the main centre and by the beach and its really nice here. I have met loads of crazy people and there are so many wannabe actors and people trying to make it in Hollywood that it is actually very entertaining....I went to Malibu yesterday which was lovely and you see many bizarre sites like a lady with a pram with 2 little dogs in who were wearing real diamond collars. Ive just watched the football in an English pub and met 2 girls who are travelling to San Francisco tomorrow along the coastal road so Im going to share a lift with them and stop off at various points on route which should be good. I am hoping the heatwave in England continues for my return! ....Thanks for everyone that has stayed in touch by either the message board, email or texts and I look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks x

Wendy Hi, Christina Just been catching up with all the photos you've posted. What a fantastic time you must be having. Not surprised I haven't heard from you for a while. Too busy lazing around in the sun and playing games to be bothered with email! See you're still pulling the men everywhere you go. What name are you up to now and is it on Martin's list I wonder?! I'm presuming you are on your final journey now so enjoy and I will see you back at work in July. Michael Ok, now I understand why you haven't been in touch...Fiji looks like paradise that we all dream about. It's easy to imagine that Internet, phone home would be the last thing on your mind when soaking in such beautiful surroundings! How are you going to cope with Swindon? Anyway, I'm off to Portugal for a week...I know it comes a poor second in comparison..so I've decided not to bother with a Notice board or travel journal! christina Hi, It was a nice surprise when I logged into Kodak website earlier and saw a slide show of my cats all happy and chilled so thanks Barry for that - you will see what Ive done with one of the photos! . Also to Mum and Steven for attempting to get their drops in which is something I never mastered! I can see they are not going to want to be returned back to Swindon after their holiday in Devon having constant attention, roast dinners and fish! .............................Dad if you have managed to log in to the website this is to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY although Im pretty sure you will ever navigate in here without the help of Steven when he visits you so never mind.................................. My time in Australia is coming to an end and I will have to look at confirming my flight over to Fiji next week where I plan to stay a couple fo weeks.. then its onto LA so you never know Rups I may see you there - Ill be there around mid June but probably not end June as it will be time to come home!

brother Hi nut I have just seen all your recent photos courtesy of Barry. You are certainly experiencing some amazing things. I really like the sound of Thailand and think someday I will have to go there - but actually all the places you have gone to sound and look brilliant. You will be pleased to know that your car is still safe and sound and I believe that dad is going to give it a wash tomorrow. We have just had a full on struggle with Bowser to put his eye drops in. It took all three of us to get it done. Also, Yoshi is looking very guilty - we think he has just eaten a fish from the pond!!! Anyway, going now to experience a Barry made curry.
