Tonight is another bush camp, we drive through the stunning backwaters, cross the lake on a small car ferry and set our site up beside a hill overlooking the water. The location is great; there is also the added bonus of not having too many local people hanging around to watch us. The rest of the day is spent relaxing and enjoying being out the truck after a really long drive the previous day.
In the evening our local guide had arranged the food for us and we were in for a feast. The dinner was cooked on the fire and there was a large fresh fish each, fresh huge prawns, jacket potatoes, corn on the cob, bread, rice, dhal and to top it all off a chocolate brownie for desert. The evening ended with the group gathered around the fire chatting, drinking and enjoying being in good company.
