Lots to report since the last blog entry :-)

Auckland has been just lovely, we arrived on Saturday 12th Feb after a long and exhausting flight from L.A (Not fun), arrived at 9.50am and somehow managed to stay up the entire day despite not sleeping properly for at least 18 hours. Dan met us at the airport and took us back to his home. There we met claire and the four of us went for a walk down on the beach. A cheeky 6km walk is enough to wake anyone up :-) followed by a much deserved refreshment we walked back along the beach and back to dan and claire's.

Back at Dan and Claire's we were a little bit spoilt, claire made us a yummy dinner (bbq and all the trimmings) and after a much appreciated feed chris and i decided to turn in (8pm) ha.

The following morning we awoke early and had some brekkie. once dan had woken up he said he would take us to auckland for the day and show us around a little bit. Here we walked around by the port, did a touch of shopping and worked up an appetite for lunch.

Lunch time :-D mine and chris's first taste of N.Z lamb, very nice. After lunch we walked up the Auckland sky tower where we could see for miles. Made me feel a little queasy being up that high so i think i will be rethinking the sky dive in Queenstown :-)

Another walk around after lunch to work off the mammoth amount of food, a quick stop in a N.Z bar for a drink and it was time to go home again. Once again, claire had made us a fantastic meal and soon after that we were ready for bed again (6 months travelling makes chris and emily O.A.Ps apparently, but never mind, we are in the sun :-) you guys are in england haha (sorry :-()

Anyway, the following day it was time to visit Hahei beach and see what that had in store...
