Hi Everyone!
First of all, apologies for the blog being seriously neglected over the last week. Full time work certainly gets in the way of blogging...but at least it's nearly time to break up for Christmas and we have lots of news to fill you in on!
Since we last left you, we have been busy trying to get into the Christmas spirit in the searing heat (a whopping 39degrees on Wednesday!!)
For those of you who have never ventured outside of the UK for this time of year, let me tell you it is really WEIRD! Trying to shop for Christmas decorations in the summer is just plain wrong! However, I am very persistent (much to Chris' annoyance) and we have managed to get ourselves kitted out with a beautiful 4ft tree courtesy of Oxfam and it looks and smells lovely :) Needless to say I will have to make up for this years short tree with an even larger one next year...!!
Flip flop lights are the highlight of this years decorations and they will be a funky reminder of where we were in 2009 when we get home! Other features include a one eyed Reindeer pompom manufactured by the McBride munchkins x and our new tram bauble :)
Merry Christmas to everyone back home x
We hope you are all enjoying the snow! We will be in touch very soon with our newest Christmas news!
Love Netti and Chris xxx

Jaxy Bout bloody time!! Only kidding :), nice to read an update ... and here I am commenting as promised so you know I've read it! Tree looks lovely in all it glory and I am well impressed with the home made decoration supplied by the miniatures ... home made craft is just not home made without a bit missing, a bit hanging off, slightly squiffy etc!! Just to make you jealous a bus is currently stuck in the ice outside our house and I nearly came a cropper this afternoon myself on a snowy hill up at Tony and Barbara's - we was slip sliding all over the place. Think I'm nearly grey - it was horrible getting stuck. Had to turn round and find alternative route. Hairy scary!! Right snow news over. Speak soon Jaxy xx
Janet Summers Hi Netti and Chris Good to hear from you. It looks fantastic and I can feel the heat I have just returned from Thailand where the weather is aslo 30 plus. I explored from north to south, went elephant riding, rafting, island hopping, cave walking, snorkelling, cooking, viewing temples and the border with Burma and Loas as well as lots of eating and shopping. Cant wait to get back... Christmas was in full swing everywhere there - a bit sureal to have Jingle Bells played on the beach. Good job I had a brilliant personal trainer to get me ready for all of this travelling. Getting back to England and the snow was a big shock flip flops changed at Heathrow for Uggs. Oz is next on my list after another spell in Thailand. My advice to everyone - get out and travel its never too late. Stay safe and enjoy those cold tinnies! love and best wishes Janet
